the David Series

This video series was originally recorded for the church where I pastor. It focuses on some of the more familiar stories about David told in the books of 1–2 Samuel. Most of them are classic Sunday school stories — David the court musician, David the shepherd boy, David and Goliath, David and Jonathan, David and his wives. Here’s the problem … I’m guessing that what you heard about these stories might not actually be the whole story, when viewed from a critical lens. So brace yourself, I’m guessing this will open up some new avenues for future study, and … in advance, many apologies for wrecking some of your favorite Bible stories.
