Scholars have come up with all sorts of ways to study the Bible, and admittedly, some are more helpful than others.
In this video, I hint at/maybe depend upon something called, the “canonical approach.”
The canonical approach, among other things, backs up and asks questions about the “shape” of the Bible.
Why is this book here? Why is that book there? Does the order of the books tells us something?
A canonical approach certainly isn’t limited to these sorts of “macro-structural” inquiries, but sometimes they are important … and sometimes they yield interesting results.
